Volvo Car Group Facility Management's (FM) mission is to enable a disturbance free operation and make life less complicated for all FM Customers and interested parties. FM has the overall responsibility for the delivery of Facility Management services within Volvo Car Group. FM incorporate management of user related services such as cleaning, catering and guarding and property related services such as real estate engineering, property maintenance and operation. FM is also responsible of a number of corporate functions and standards such as Corporate Security, Interior Guidelines and Technical Building Requirements. The team consists of about 80 employees and a large number of bought services. FM operates globally. FM Gothenburg is responsible for the entire FM delivery in Gothenburg and Hällered. The team in Gothenburg is about 12 people, real estate managers, specialists, project managers and similar. We also work a lot with consultants, for the time being about 30 people.
We are now looking for a Site Security Manager to join our team in Gothenburg!
The role is part of Regional Facility management and will coordinate and execute the operational security work on sites with multiple Business Functions to ensure a sufficient security level so that Volvo Cars interests are not obstructed.
The Site Security Manager reports to the Senior Local Facility manager in Gothenburg and reports dotted to the Chief Security Officer.
What you’ll do
In this role you will execute an integrated, long-term strategy for operational Security Management, and also develop local processes, instructions and guidelines within the area based on the demands in Volvo Cars Security and Crisis Directive and Instructions. You will educate, train and give support to the business on local security demands.
Yearly, you will perform security risk assessments and identify potential risks and deliver mitigation measures. This includes to advice and support to local management on security issues. Part of your responsibility is to lead and participate in site/local internal investigations on identified or reported incidents and vulnerabilities.
Key in this role will be to identify and recommend needed actions to reduce criminal activities against the company or its personnel. You will inform and educate personnel of security rules and routines and perform security inspections within site.
At VIP visits, management meetings and events connected to site related activities you will support the site management in security issues.
You will also:
- Develop site Security governance and provide necessary operational security support to the responsible Business entity.
- Support each business entity within the site to develop and maintain its own Security governance.
- Identify the right risk level of protection and propose protective measures.
- Secure that internal investigations are conducted in a timely manner and according to law, policies and routines.
- In corporation with Corporate Security assist local authorities in connection to investigations, proceedings and trials
Do you fit the profile?
To enjoy and succeed in the role, we see that you have high communication and presentation skills as well as a great interest in building good relationships. You need to be a self-driven person and have a high ability to take initiatives and cooperate cross functional along with an ability to develop and maintain networks. These skills will help you out as you will educate the organization in safety. It is of great importance that you have experience from working with security management and preventative safety work. You have analytical abilities and great skills for conducting security risk and treat analysis with good judgement. As you will work with people and sensitive information it is a requirement to have strong integrity. We want to be first class when it comes to next generation of digital tools and therefore we see that you have good knowledge about modern security technology.
We expect you to have relevant Academic degree / University or work experience.
Fluent in English and Swedish, written and spoken is preferable.
