We are looking for a Project Manager for the Fortum's Turbine and Generator Services which belongs to the eNext business area. The role will mostly be within the delivery of the larger and more complex turbine and generator projects and their auxiliary systems. Projects are mostly delivered within Nordic countries but also outside Nordics. Be able to travel is then a natural part within this role
Within the role description is also:
- securing the delivery of the project based on the contract both commercially and technically
- resourcing of the project
- project safety
- financial project follow-up, weekly/monthly customer meetings and documentation
- responsible to prepare and present status of the project at monthly Project reviews
- handle changes within project, technical, financial, time etc.
- hand over project to the customer and project closure
The Project Manager is reporting to the Group Manager Projects.

We believe that suitable candidates have an educational background in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering / Power plant maintenance and at least 3–5 years of experience in service business. Knowledge of power plant processes, turbines and generators are highly appreciated.
We believe also that suitable candidates have some add on studies in Project Management and has also has at least 5-10 years of work experience within Project Management.
You have very good English and Finnish skills. Swedish language skills are appreciated.
