On behalf of our client, Pilot Nordic AB, we are now looking for a driven Operational Key Account Manager to Denmark who will be an important part of driving the business forward in Denmark. Join a winning team and take on the challenge to further expand our business in the Danish market, where planning and executing World Class Key Account Management are crucial capabilities. The Key Account Manager is managing the interface between the Country Manager and a number of Accounts in the territory, and will drive growth within our existing customer portfolio, as well as identifying and exploiting new opportunities in the defined market space.
About the role
The Key Account Manager will drive profitable growth in line with the company objectives within new and current customer base. You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of a leading brand in a number of Key Accounts in Denmark. Together with the Country Manager in Denmark you will develop customer strategies and initiate activities to maximize net revenue and profit. The role is also accountable for developing the strategic plan for specific accounts to drive sales, profit and net revenue capital in both B2C and B2B.
- Further develop our current customer portfolio
- Bring new customers to the table. Primarily within B2C but also in B2B
- Execute customer plans
- Educate the various customers’ sales force in Pilot USP’s
- Deliver on sales quota in your region (Denmark)
- Establish brand specific activity plans in collaboration with the Country Manager & marketing department
- Deliver monthly sales estimates
- Negotiate Customer agreements
- Key Account Management from the Grocery Trade Channel
- +3 years of FMCG experience, preferably from an international company
- Conceptual and analytical skills
- Experience developing strategies, tactics and measurable implementation
- Fluency in Danish and English (both oral and written)
- Excellent Communication and presenting skills
- Strong networker
- Very good in customer development
