Join Saab AB, Training & Simulation´s R&D department to work with development of our world technology-leading laser based training system. Here you have the opportunity to work with frontline technology within electro-optics and keep us as a technology leading company in this area.
You will work with optics design of our laser products mainly within the VIS and NIR range. For optical design, Zemax OpticStudio is used. Our products are used outdoor, in different climate all over world, why products should be designed to work in tough mechanical environment and in wide temperature range. You will be able to work in the border between optics and electronics e.g. with drive circuits for diode lasers and detectors with amplifiers.
The main task are
- Optics and electronics design
- Radiometric and photometric measurements
- Evaluation of optical components
- Follow trends and developments within this area
- Improvement of measurement methods and tools
- Collaboration with subcontractors in the field.
You have a Master of Science degree in Electronics/ Engineering Physics, with specialization of optronics and preferably some years relevant work experience.
