We are looking for a dynamic experienced Operations manager to join GfK at this very exciting time of change.
With GfK relocating from Lund to a new office in Copenhagen, you will play a key role in establishing, building and embedding the new operations team in Denmark, ensuring the office move goes smoothly, risks are flagged and mitigation plans are put in place. Reporting to the UK Operations Director, this position in critical in ensuring that we deliver on our Operational client commitments across the Nordics region.
You will be responsible for leading and developing a team of 8 based in the Copenhagen office, but will also have dedicated resource located in the UK and our offshore hubs (Europe and India) which you will need to coordinate. You build strong collaborative working relationships with your commercial counterparts, regional Operations team and offshore partners and constantly drive organizational improvements.
· building and embedding the new operations team in Denmark, including recruitment, training, etc.
· ensuring the office move
· correct delivery of all client deliverables / commitments
· leadership and development of the team, providing support and coaching
· meeting key production/operational deadlines and monitoring performance
· developing and maintaining collaborative working relationships with stakeholders
· implementation of global standardized processes
· supporting the Operations Director in meeting financial targets
You have a proven track record of driving successful change management within an operations environment, pref. global. We also believe you are a confident leader with experience from engaging, developing and growing your team in an international and cross-cultural environment. You have project management experience and are used to working with monitoring performance against objectives. You are fluent in English and a Scandinavian language, both verbal and written and have good IT-skills.
