Developing cars and services around people, our customers, and create a positive consumer experience in every step is key. Our management system are here to support this, seamlessly integrated in our business, designed around the user, intuitively guiding us where needed.
Your main responsibility will be to lead the work with our management system. This includes developing the system into the future as well as evaluating the performance of it in different ways and both lead and support improvement activities to make our management system seamlessly integrated in our company giving us the benefits of a true management system. You will report to Senior Director Customer Satisfaction & Management System.
What you’ll do
You will be responsible for the development of our global management system and drive the implementation to ensure that it is seamlessly integrated in all our areas. This also includes securing fulfilment of relevant ISO standards. Leading our audits and assessments includes building a strong approach on company assessments to ensure that we have an optimal portfolio of methods to choose from that effectively evaluates our status and identifies the relevant gaps and improvement areas. A key part of your role will also be to initiate and drive the improvements needed.
Collaboration is key and you will work in close cooperation with all areas within Volvo Car Group.
You and your skills
You have several years of experience in management and team leadership roles / strategic and operational management skills. You are a strong leader with a clear customer focus. You are relations oriented and drive change and implementation through engagement. You have the ability to deliver in time with high quality, to plan and prioritize with a flexible mind-set and with high integrity.
You have a holistic view and your analytical skills are excellent. You handle Microsoft Office applications easily and you know how to present facts and results. As you are part of a management team, you are confident in your profession and transparent in your communication. You have integrity and create trust around you. You know how to influence others and how to handle complex information. You like to work independently as well as in teams.
You have knowledge and experience in management system, company assessments, quality and/or environmental standards and in operational development/change leadership. You have a university degree in a relevant area, example M.Sc. or equivalent in Engineering or Economics. We also see that you have fluent skills, both written and orally, in English and preferably Swedish.
