Swedish Match is now seeking to strengthen our Europe Division Business Control team by employing a Business Controller. The position is permanent and located at the Group’s head office in central Stockholm. As a Business Controller you will be part of a high performing team, working with strategic, operational, and financial questions in a very successful consumer goods company. About the position
The main purpose of the role is to conduct business and financial analysis and to support management and business operations in commercial and strategic decisions. These experiences combined provide an excellent platform for a future career within finance and other managerial positions.
You will be part of a high performing team and you will have a wide variety of work tasks. Your key responsibilities will be:
- Support the Vice President Business Control and other functions within the organization in ad-hoc analysis, projects, business cases, and M&A
- Assist in the follow-up of Key Performance Indices and other strategic targets
- Analysis of financial performance and compilation of monthly and quarterly reporting
- Support the Vice President Business Control in financial planning processes, while taking proactive responsibility of certain parts of the processes
- Analysis of profitability and cost development and support individuals in charge of cost centers with cost follow-up
- Regularly secure the quality of financial data
- Maintain a high level of business understanding through analysis of market development and competitive activity
- Actively promote a result- and business-oriented culture within the Division
You will report to the Vice President Business Control, Europe Division.
You have a university degree in Business Administration and/or Engineering. We believe that you have 2-4 years of work experience within business control, auditing or management consulting within the CFO agenda. You are fluent in English and have a high degree of literacy in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
You are a high performing individual with a strong interest in business performance analysis. You have excellent analytical skills and the ability to focus on details and deliver exceptional quality. To be suitable for the position you need to be ambitious, good at taking initiatives and motivated by personal development. Finally, we see that you are a typical “team player” which means that you are humble and appreciate good cooperation with your colleagues.
